I'm a simple lass, the daughter of a pit man. Who was slow to walk and talk, but as soon as I could hold a crayon, the mark making began.
Growing up the only thing to make me tick was finding ways to re create the world I saw around me. From school to art college the only aspiration I had and still have is for my work to turn a smile, evoke a memory, feeling and bring enjoyment to those who look at it. I've been graced with many opportunities through the years to work along side students in schools, community projects in local schools, theatres, charities and the church. I have never felt more alive than when I'm creating.
Creating is the only thing that has made sense through the entirety of my life, through the highs and lows, my work has been a way of silently screaming or singing where words have availed me.
